Change of Plans

Yesterday I felt an enormous weight on my shoulders. Things have been really hard lately, both at home and at work. I wanted to post something about what's going on, but I was too drained and weepy to write. I'm glad I waited.

Laura called me at lunch time today.

"Guess what your granddaughter did today!" ( I knew right then Ava was in trouble)

It seems Miss Ava had a lovely bath today. Unfortunately, she was so relaxed that-you guessed it-she, um, pooped in the tub. Now really, that isn't so bad. Except that she stuck it in her mouth, smiled, and exclaimed,

I booped!

LOL!!
"i booped" oh thats funny (probably not so much for Laura)
- story to make her feel better-
When my oldest was nearly 2, i was working and my hubby had the kids, he was watching a movie with Liam and fell asleep on the couch. He woke up to his face being touched and rubbed with something warm..
Liam had done a "boopy" and decided to become an artist painting everything from the couch the TV through to DHs face.
LOL! he was not amused.

I am so glad that Ava can bring a smile to your face.

That's the beauty of these kiddos....just when you think you're at your lowest point, they have the knack of being able to put a huge smile on our faces!!
Way to go Ava!!
